THE GATEWAY TO INDEPENDENCE IS NOW OPEN!!
Physical awards will only be sent if winning film-makers are able to pay P&P towards it. As we are very independently run and funded, it helps keep the YFIFF going for another year. Obviously with the cancellation, we lose all 2020 & 21 support...
IMPORTANT YFIFF T&C'S
The festival prides itself in finding and promoting new talent of the independent film world, now in its new home at The Old Auction Rooms, set near the marina in the beautiful coastal town of Bangor (Northern Ireland). With its stunning surroundings, and ease of access by train or bus services, our new location puts you right on the doorstep of some beautiful coastal walks and scenery - yet still only 20 minutes from Belfast City Centre.
The YFIFF now focuses STRICTLY on genre films that hail the Action (or) Horror (or) Thriller (or) Grindhouse theme.
A weekend of madness and fun is always guaranteed, with a chance for some networking, meeting new friends and fans. As usual, we close with our wonderful big black tie, gala dinner award ceremony on the Sunday evening, resulting in a lot of happy people, plenty of smiles and great memories!
For those (non-NI) film-makers that attend, the YFIFF staff offer a touring day the following Monday of some of the best sights of Northern Ireland, as a 'thank-you' for joining us, and the chance to make your trip a bit more special...
We look forward to meeting you and sharing your film to the people of Norn' Iron!!
